I’m Eddy Simmons.
Systems thinker by wiring. Lifelong optimizer. Can’t help it.
In my fifties, I’m in the best shape of my life in every way that matters. Not because I found a shortcut. Because I built a system, followed it when I didn’t feel like it, and didn’t stop when the results showed up.
I spent decades building systems that made other people successful. I raised four daughters while carrying more than most people would ever suspect. I went from 240 pounds to visible abs for the first time in my life. All while doing my day job as a Director of Technology at a Fortune 500. Now I’m building something of my own.
This newsletter is what I learned. Physical performance. Mental resilience. AI productivity. Systems thinking. All of it connected. All of it tested on myself first.
A room full of leaders once assigned me a superlative: “Most likely to write a self-help book called I Tried Everything So You Don’t Have To.”
They were almost right. I created this newsletter instead.
New stories every Tuesday.
Uncommon systems. Uncomplicated results.
